These courses are designed for student-participants who want an advanced knowledge of the language. 35 hours per course.
Advanced Grammar I
Revision of the most frequently occurring grammatical areas and reinforcement to structures of the Spanish language: Verbal tenses, modal auxiliaries and similar expressions; Passive voice; Gerunds & Infinitives; Articles; Singular & Plural.
Advanced Grammar II
Perfection of syntax of speech used in a functional way : Noun clauses; Adjective clause; Adverbial clause: showing relationships between ideas I -II; Conditional sentences; Preposition combination.
Writing
Analysis of the structure of standard paragraphs, the cohesion and coherence of fluent prose learned in Grammar I and II.
Guide for correcting writing errors and redaction of documents: organization and development of paragraphs within the context of different styles of redactions.
Phonetics and Phonology
The study of the particularities of Spanish as regards articulation and intonation. Practice exercises to cure the main problems of the student-participants in this area.
